Omnicom has been a principal builder working closely with business teams across all divisions for 17 years. Our work here has included building modernized versions of core economic statistic estimation systems:
US gross domestic product (GDP) and income (GDI)
Cross-border financial flows (Balance of Payments) and investment (Foreign Direct Investment)
Industry (input-output) view of the economy
Regional (state, county, and major metropolitan area level) gross domestic product and income.

For over 15 years, Omnicom partnered with Reuters, and later Thomson Reuters, to help build the core database and computational components of the following systems:
an integrated suite of systems for ingesting, calculating, and delivering:
over 30 years of daily price and volume data for 900K+ equities, computing over 300 time-series technical analytics
over 25 years of historical shares outstanding data (and respective prices) for 1.4 million issues, computing market cap time-series for 175K+ global publicly listed companies
over 30 years of company financials (10K and 10Q) for 100K+ global publicly listed companies, computing more than 2,700 time-series financial analytics
a global broker estimate analysis system integrating historic time-series of market data and broker estimates for 38K+ global publicly listed companies; system computed consensus time-series, individual company analytics on both fiscal and calendar period basis, and aggregate analytics using GICS taxonomy for 10K+ aggregate series
a news collection, processing and distribution system, supporting the websites of one of the world’s leading news organizations (www.reuters.com)
an automated foreign exchange trading system for the world’s major banks, providing them and their corporate clients direct access to currency markets
a data warehouse for maintaining eligibility and claims data for subscribers of large insurance company health plans
